These are biologically active substances produced by human cells, and then spread throughout the body and regulate the work of its systems, thereby affecting other cells. This way of controlling the body is provided by the endocrine system, and this regulation of physical activity is called body fluids. Together with neuromodulation, it can ensure the function of organisms and control development, growth, metabolism and other processes. In addition, in animals, hormones can affect hunger, certain reactions to the external environment and emotions. Single-celled organisms also have substances that provide chemical regulation, but they are called signal molecules.
The mechanism of action of hormones can be briefly described as follows. Signals from outside or inside the body activate certain receptors. Their impulses enter the central nervous system and part of the hypothalamus-hypothalamus-brain, which can secrete substances that affect the pituitary gland and affect the production of tropical hormones that control the functions of other endocrine glands. The hormones secreted by these glands interact with receptors in target cells to trigger a series of chemical reactions, resulting in changes in the activities of various enzymes and coenzymes. These reactions control various processes in the human body. They also affect the secretion of hormones that trigger the chain and the release of other hormones. After interacting with the receptor, the hormone is quickly destroyed, but its decay products can participate in the regulation of life activities or transmit signals from one organism to another.
Hormones include representatives of various chemical substances. Estrogen, androgens and corticosteroids are steroids (derived from cholesterol). Growth hormone, insulin, glucagon and many others are peptides. Thromboxane, which regulates blood clotting, is a derivative of unsaturated fatty acids (eicosanoids). Thyroxine, norepinephrine and its derivatives Adrenaline is an amino acid derivative.
The same substance can affect different organisms in different ways. For example, ethylene used in the synthesis of various organic compounds has no hormonal activity on humans and other mammals. However, it is a plant hormone that can provide signal transmission between plants. If the leaves of a tree are damaged, the leaves adjacent to it will begin to secrete substances that protect the animal from its attack.
Hormones act on the human body in very small concentrations. The result of hormone action is specific to each hormone: for example, the lack of thyroxine cannot be compensated by the increasein secretion of other hormones. For a given organism, increased hormone secretion or vice versa, violation of its transport or receptor sensitivity changes can lead to endocrine disorders. These include hypothyroidism, acromegaly (giantastic disease), diabetes and other diseases. Usually, these are very serious conditions that have not been completely cured so far. However, the effects of hormones can be mimicked-for example, by changing the concentration of certain ions in cells or introducing hormone-like substances into the body. The ability to influence life processes at the endocrine system level has become a real breakthrough in the fields of biology, medicine, and agriculture. With the help of hormone precursors, these substances themselves or artificial compounds, it is possible to correct many hormonal disorders by maintaining the normal functions of the human body. In addition, hormones and growth stimulants can increase the productivity of crops and farm animals and accelerate their weight gain, thereby increasing profits.
However, because this effect is very complicated, it cannot be called the management of body fluid regulation. It can be assumed that hormones or hormonal drugs will have much effect on the body after administration, but its exact consequences cannot be predicted. Therefore, such funds can only be received in the prescribed dose under the guidance of a doctor. However, they are sometimes used to lose weight, gain muscle or use stimulants in competitions.
According to the Council Directive 97/23, 97/24 676/93, .1431 95 EU food raw materials and animal-derived food must be completely free of hormone drugs and β-agonist residues. According to EU Regulation 38/2011, the content of Clenbuterol in milk must not exceed 0.6μ. The maximum content of the growth promoter in meat is 0.1μ. In China, certain growth promoters and hormones can be used to increase the productivity of farm animals. In countries that ban this practice, some growers may use growth promoters to increase productivity. 
When controlling hormones, it should be remembered that certain levels of these substances are found in animal products (including milk) because they are produced in the organism of the animal, even if no hormone is used at all during the dilution process. The low levels of hormones in food are safe for humans. Their high concentration and growth stimulants and hormone analogs represent danger.

The State Veterinary Administration supervised the levels of hormonal growth stimulants and thyroid depressants in animal products according to the Veterinary Department’s order dated 5.11.
The date of the National Veterinary Supervision Organization rule on the content of hormonal growth promoters and thyroid inhibitors in animal products is 19.9.
